The starting position would be located in Metro Denver, with the opportunity to work in other areas of the Rocky Mountain region. The position requires 0-5 years of heavy highway project management experience. The candidate will work under the direct supervision of a Project Manager. Candidate MUST have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. SEMA is seeking a Project Manager for our California District Office located in Lake Forest, CA. The candidate must have a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidate must be detail oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, and Viewpoint is a plus. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to understand technical and complicated construction projects, and have experience scheduling the construction of large-scale, complex projects including managing a progress reporting methodology for a complicated design effort. Must be knowledgeable in construction materials and methods including, but not limited to, structures, earthwork and underground utilities with a proven track record of delivering successful projects. A background in safety a plus and experience in Public Works is preferred with 3 or more years of experience.
