Description: SEMA was contracted by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to complete remedial work and improvements at the historically sensitive Argo Tunnel Mill site, which is also classified as a Superfund site due to heavy metal contamination of soil and groundwater. This mine waste remediation project included construction of drainage controls, restoration of the Clear Creek stream channel, mine waste grading and relocation, and slope stability improvements by constructing concrete retaining walls that utilized a dry-stack wall formliner.
